Laurie Forestry Community Support

Laurie Forestry are proud to be supporters of the wider NZ Forestry community. We are actively involved with the NZ Farm Forestry Association and the NZ Institute of Forestry.

We are also proud members of our local community – Waimate. Laurie Forestry was an inaugural sponsor of the Waimate 50 and an active member of Town Waimate.

We offer half day planting for the community group of Lyttleton or waimak.

Laurie Forestry supports its community and industry via monitory and in-kind support.
The community and industry groups include;

  • Bushtown Waimate.
  • Waimate 50 Motor Sport Association.
  • Various programmes within the NZ Farm Forestry Association.
  • NZ Forest Industry Safety Council.
  • Annual funding to ensure all Canterbury University Forestry Students receive a copy of the Tree Grower Magazine (4 per year).
  • Give Kids a Chance.
  • Waimate Mountain Bike Association.
  • Rotary Club of Waimate.
  • Central South Island Trust.
  • Lyttelton Port Recreational Track Users Group.
