Forest Harvesting Services

Maximise returns, minimise risks

A crop that can take 30+ years to reach maturity should be harvested in a manner which ensures returns are optimised with the minimum of risk.

Laurie Forestry offers a range of services to its clients and is an industry leader in harvesting and marketing of private Pinus Radiata forests and woodlots of other wood species including Macrocarpa (NZ or Monterey cypress), Leyland cypress, Western red cedar, Redwood, Ash Oak and Elm in New Zealand.

We manage wood flows from multiple sources to multiple destinations, including both domestic and export markets.

We have been actively involved in marketing trees across a wide range of scale, species, log types and end uses for over 25 years.

Marketing Options for your Trees?

  • Managed Sales – This is our most popular service.
The process is managed from harvesting the standing forest to the customer in NZ, China, India or South Korea.
  • Lump Sum Purchase – This removes all the risks.
We have buyers actively looking to purchase standing forests that are ready for harvest.
  • Guaranteed Minimum Returns – This gives you peace of mind.
Contracts guarantee a minimum return and still benefit from any upturn in the market.
